ColorAnt 12, CoPrA 12 and ZePrA 14

ColorLogic updated its three main tools at once. ColorAnt 12 allows the adaptation of evaluation criteria and ΔE limits to each production; CoPrA 12 improves multicolor profiles and paper white compensation in DeviceLink; ZePrA 14 incorporates a revamped PDF nesting engine for complex jobs. An update that connects measurement, profiling, and automatic conversion.

K2 3.0 expands automation

Xitron introduced K2 3.0, featuring enhanced automation, job management, and integration with third-party systems. The available updates to K2 include the ability to edit imposition templates from Mac and Windows clients, output multiple PDFs per job, and save projects to facilitate reprints. K2D-X expands the product family for environments with multiple digital presses and DFEs.

PRINERGY 11.6: Flow Evolution

Kodak now offers PRINERGY 11.6. The version brings together requested improvements for PRINERGY Connect and components such as PREPS, PANDORA, PLA, VPS+, plugins, and COLORFLOW. If your installation uses several of these tools, it is advisable to evaluate the upgrade as a whole and plan compatibility and licensing with the technical team.

PRINERGY EVO 11.5: Performance and Reliability

Kodak introduces EVO 11.5 as the current version of its PDF workflow for print shops looking for preflight, normalization, color management, and output to CTP or digital devices. The official datasheet indicates Adobe PDF Print Engine 6.3 for 11.5 and compatibility with Windows 10/11 Professional and Windows Server 2019/2022. PREPS, COLORFLOW Pro, and PANDORA are offered as add-ons depending on the configuration.

PACKZ 12 Adds AI-Powered Assistance

PACKZ 12 features a contextual multilingual assistant to query tools, generate action lists, and help with routine tasks. It adds support for Amazon Transparency codes and production enhancements such as new Packzimizer options and quality control in PACKZ Max. These are version 12 features; their specific scope depends on the installed modules.

GMG · PROOFING AND COLOR · 2026 VERSIONS

ColorProof 5.18 and OpenColor 3.4

ColorProof 5.18 adds email notifications via GMG Cloud, improvements to remote proofing, and greater visibility into resource usage. OpenColor 3.4 expands printer compatibility and offers new options for redefining spot colors and identifying inks. GMG notes that upgrading to these versions requires a new license; we review each installation before updating.

PrintFactory 2026.2.0 expands the Workflow components, allows you to resume calibration sessions, and updates the RIP's web-based job list with filters, statuses, and actions. In 2026, ICScolor will offer the ProofCheck lighting booth as a standalone product, compatible with a 32-inch BenQ SW321 monitor or a 27-inch EIZO monitor. SurePress L-5034: speed and water-based quality

The new aqueous ink label press combines 1200 × 1200 dpi PrecisionCore printheads, up to 13.5 m/min, and six CMYK inks plus orange and green. Epson highlights the automatic nozzle check, compatibility with papers and films, and rolls up to 340 mm wide. The European page still invites registration of interest, so local availability must be confirmed.

A 3.2-meter LED hybrid

The EFI Pro 30h+ combines flatbed and roll-to-fed capabilities in a single device for rigid and flexible materials. It offers up to 235 m²/h, a resolution of up to 1200 dpi, CMYK, and four white channels as standard. It allows printing up to five layers in a single pass and offers clear ink as an option for spot effects.
